Installing and Enabling SSL Certificates
SSL is installed and enabled by default. However, having the SSL Certificate installed and enabled does not automatically configure your website to force visitors to your site's HTTPS protocol. HTTPS is the secure protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website that you are connected to. The non-secured protocol is HTTP.
HTTPS can be forced by accessing your Domain in your cPanel account and enabling the Force HTTPS toggle switch.
Our Free SSL Certificates renew every 3 months. The renewal process is automatic and shouldn't be noticed.
Free SSL Warranties or Trusted Site Logos
Free SSL Certificates do not come with warranties or trusted site logos. Such features are only available when a warranty inclusive Domain Validated (DV), Organization Validated (OV), Extended Validated (EV) or Wild Card certificate is purchased and installed.
